The Issues We Face Today

Responsible Budgeting and Fiscal Management

Congress spends OUR taxpayer dollars like a bunch of drunken Paratroops at a strip club. Which is irresponsible and unsustainable and has resulted in more than doubling the national debt since 2012. This must end immediately if not sooner. Thomas will work relentlessly to stop the runaway spending.

  • Live within our means: Deficit spending must stop.
  • Prioritize essential spending: Resources will be allocated in accordance with the function of the Federal Government as set out in the Constitution.
  • Tax reform and simplification:  The entire tax code should be changed to no more than 10 pages. 
  • Transparency and accountability: Promote transparency in government spending and hold officials accountable for responsible financial management.

Restoring the Second Amendment:

The Second Amendment guarantees the right of law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms. Supports legislation to:

  • Repeal unconstitutional gun control laws: Rally support within the House of Representatives to repeal the National Firearms Act.
  • Protect the rights of gun owners: Defend the rights of law-abiding gun owners from overzealous regulation and prosecution.

Securing the Southern Border:

The flow of illegal immigration across our southern border is a national security and economic crisis. Supports legislation to:

  • Hold the Executive Branch accountable to its task of enforcing the law: Unyielding efforts to use the power of the purse to force compliance.

How He Stands on Other Important Issues:

  • Protecting the unborn: He is pro-life but believes this is an issue that each State decides on its own. 
  • Economic growth: Get government out of the way which promotes a pro-growth environment that encourages businesses to create jobs and strengthen the economy.
  • Families: Strengthen families by promoting marriage, responsible fatherhood, and traditional values. This also includes placing the responsibility of education back to the Parents in each State.
  • Supporting our military and veterans: Ensure our military has the resources it needs to defend our nation and provide for the well-being of our veterans.
  • Defending our religious freedom: Protect the right of Americans to practice their faith freely without government interference.
